March 19, 2026.
Here’s what’s new from Design Home.
Despite the cold weather, crazy snowstorm, and even the occasional frozen pipe (IYKYK), our Toronto Show was the perfect opportunity to reconnect with our valued Canadian retailers. Many travelled from across our beautiful country to Toronto to see what’s new for 2026. From Thursday, January 22nd to Friday, January 30th, we welcomed independent retailers into our 18,000+ Sq. Ft. showroom – just minutes from the International Centre – whether they arrived by car or Uber, we made sure to welcome them with open arms!
Show time is always a favourite time around here as we strive to create a warm and inviting space where retailers can recharge, feel inspired, and shop comfortably. It’s always a highlight to have so many of our customers gathered together in one place. If you’ve not had a chance to visit our showroom during the Toronto show, you’re truly missing out.

There was plenty to enjoy in our showroom – great food, drinks, and live music performed by talented students from the U of T music department. Brand representatives were here to provide knowledge and sampling for retailers.
Those who booked appointments with their Design Home Division 1 & 2 Sales Representative received curated gift bags and a bottle of wine, and those who placed combined orders of $5,000 or more were given a $100 cash bonus. We’ve been running this incentive for years, and it never gets old seeing a new visitor walk in and be pleasantly surprised when we hand them $100 cash on their way out. Watching those reactions is always such a fun and rewarding moment for us. In addition, Retailers were able to see what’s new for 2026 across all of our brands.

Most importantly, our gorgeous showroom was filled with what’s new for 2026. We were thrilled to showcase thousands of new introductions across all of our brands, including nine brand-new lines debuting in Toronto. Our team spent weeks reimagining the space to create an inspiring environment, designed to spark ideas for your own stores and displays.
Trust us – you won’t want to miss seeing our showroom in person this August. Make sure to book your appointment early.

Finch + Fennel spice mixes were, as always, a huge hit at the show. They consistently draw a crowd and offer a great, easy recipe idea that retailers can recreate in-store. One standout moment for me was hearing that a store who had sampled this at the August Show recently used the same recipe and sold 24 bottles of the Italian Stallion spice mix in a single day.
We went through a lot of crackers – and this one was a clear favourite for us. It tasted just like a homemade churro. Make sure to try it in store and let me know what you think. I would love to hear from you! You can email me at ltanco@designhome.ca
